No controlling if the wind blows against my shirt from the front.
No panic that anyone can clock my transness.
No more insecurities in changing rooms or at the beach.
No more feeling ashamed when I undress myself in front of the mirror, like I am unpacking “the truth”. Now it is just me.
The incisions still hurt and there will be scars, but the pain it relieved is much more hurtful than the ache now can ever be.
No more of all the little stressors I had to cope with daily.
